Our Analysts Work Alongside our Experienced Consultants and In-House Team to Tackle Important Business Issues 

Overview

We offer a five years apprenticeship program for trainee analyst to work alongside industry experts and develop ground-up skills in a broad array of disciplines ranging from process design to systems engineering, stress management, corporate governance, analytics, robotics, machine learning, venture capital, corporate turnaround, disaster recovery, industrial safety, finance, business law, leadership and managerial skills, logistics and operations management, marketing strategy, negotiation behavior, strategic leadership and strategy implementation.

You will be exposed to a variety of industry sectors and functions, gaining a deep insight into the key strategic issues that leading companies are facing. You will work closely with our partners and senior staff to support our business development efforts with the venture capital community and technology development.

Our structured training program will equip you with a toolkit that will enable you to add value to our clients. Your initial training will focus on problem solving and developing interpersonal skills. These sessions will focus on developing you as a scientist, an engineer, or a consultant.

You will be expected to travel in order to learn firsthand from our client engagements. Working in small teams, you will be responsibility for delivering elements of our client and internal projects. You will develop an understanding of the client context and key issues through interviews and operational assessments. You will learn to analyze data, present findings to clients, and draw out key insight. You will work with our senior staff to draw conclusions and to develop options and recommendations.

You will receive regular and informal feedback from the partner assigned to a project and given opportunities to incorporate the learning in your design proposal in order to develop self confidence.

You will be trained in our Organizational Learning tools such as templates, processes, procedures, technologies, finance, and legal requirements. These tools and skills will include problem definition, development of assumptions, qualitative and quantitative research and analysis, business model development, communication and presentation, and orchestrating client relationships.

After three years, candidates with demonstrated capabilities will be promoted to Associate Scientist or Engineer. You will be encouraged to stretch yourself in areas such as project definition and progress management. These opportunities will help you decide which practice you wish to specialize in for the next two years. Your support staff will help you analyze specialization requirements and your strengths to become successful.

Qualifications

By the end of your seventh year you would be promoted to a Staff Scientist as you prepare to lead scientific research and manage your team on R&D and client engagements. You will continue to received support from other partners and senior staff. You will apply for division funding and become responsible for corporate governance, mentoring new staff, and developing business and technical solutions for our clients.
